Abstract

The purpose of the research is to reveal the poetry of the mother in Arabic poem and Malaysian poem (Malay), for the importance of the term as representing the experience of the artistic poet, which aims to raise the issue addressed through wide and deep spaces to reflect the suffering of society in general. We chose the poem "Family Poem" by the Arab poet Ibrahim Nasrallah because it is revolves around the mother's poetry. And a poem "Mother" by Malaysian poet Abdul Aziz Darman, which also revolves around the mother's poetry. The method of research follows the analytical approach in analyzing the technical and subjective dimensions, and reading their approaches in the poetic text in a flexible coordinate tool that opens the dialogue between the reader and the text to solve the code of deep and superficial meaning. One of the most important findings of the research is that the Arab poet Ibrahim Nasrallah and the Malaysian poet Abdel Aziz Darman are among the most imaginative and wide-ranging poets. The past with happiness and misery left a great impact on their lives. They always seek to retrieve the past and its experience. The poem presents the image of a nation, especially its feelings, ideals and wisdom. Motherhood and its poetry for the two poets represent the issue of a nation that shares many humanitarian issues.
