EFFECTIVENESS OF A GROUP GUIDANCE PROGRAM IN IMPROVING THE LEVEL OF ADAPTATION AMONG STUDENTS OF LEARNING DIFFICULTIES IN THE SULTANTE OF OMAN

Abstract

This study aims to implement and investigate the effectiveness of a group counseling program, to improve the level of adaptation of students with learning difficulties at second grade pulps at the internal region of the Sultanate Oman. Based on the survey conducted by the researcher, in which the basic needs and the students’ difficulties were recognized; to improve the level of adaptation of the target group. A semi-experimental framework was conducted on a sample of (30) participants, in experimental group, and control group. The program consisted of (11) sessions implemented at two sessions per week, in addition to the pre-session and the post-program session. The (T) test used for two equal samples. The findings revealed that adaptation is related to students' learning difficulties. There were statistically significant differences at the level of (.05> a), between the two groups in telemetry; for the benefit of the experimental group, which indicates the effectiveness of the indicative program used. There are statistically significant differences at the level of (.05> a) between the tribal and remote measurements in favor of the telemetry. This indicates the program positive impact in this study
